Deaf Children Performance At London Olympics Opening Ceremony

London - IT is a celebration of all that is best about Great Britain.
Thousands of people began to file into the state-of-the-art arena in the Olympic Park, a sprawling network of sporting venues, athletes’ accommodation, media centres and restaurants built in a previously run-down area of London’s East End.
With £27million spent, 10,000 people taking part, scenes from rolling countryside to the industrial revolution, not to mention the biggest names from stage and screen, with sheep, chickens and geese, the Olympics Opening Ceremony promises to be a spectacle on an epic scale.
Almost four billion people are expected to be watching on TV around the world, as well as more than 60,000 inside the stadium, the official start to 17 days of drama when more than 16,000 athletes from 204 countries will contest sport’s ultimate prize – Olympic Gold.

The Ghost Tracks Video In ASL
The ghost tracks of San Antonio video in American Sign Language.
San Antonio, TX. - Numerous of Deafies heard the stories about these railroad tracks located on Shane Road where a train struck a school bus during the 1940s and killed the bus driver and all children on the bus.
The urban legend is that a long time ago about haunted railroad tracks near San Antonio, Texas... anyhow, the Deafies decided to do some investigation on their own, and to their amazement they actually found some shocking evidence. The car did indeed go up the hill and over the tracks with the ignition turned off even. They even tried it with the car going backwards and it still worked.
They even noticed very apparent fingerprints on the trunk of the car after pouring baby powder on it and going over the tracks. They say that if you put baby powder on the back on your car the kids handprints will appear. The story and posted by Stacey De Laune.

2090 Coalition: Support Rocky Mountain Deaf School !

Support RMDS! Learn more about Rocky Mountain Deaf School needs your support to secure a location for an appropriate building design that would help to meet the educational and safety needs of RMDS students.
The "2090 Coalition (Save Our Park)" is a group of local residents in Lakewood who are petitioning for an election over the building of a new school at 2090 South Wright Street for Rocky Mountain Deaf School (RMDS), a Jeffco Charter School. RMDS wants to move from a strip mall in Golden to this property owned by Jefferson County School District. RMDS can build a 46,000 square-foot new school with an appropriate building design that would help to meet the educational and safety needs of maximum 100 RMDS students.
This school would be nationally recognized and the first in the US to be built and designed by the Deaf, for the Deaf. RMDS must begin building on this property before November or risk losing a $13 million dollar grant from the BEST (Building Excellent Schools Today) program through the Colorado Department of Education. The BEST grant does not use taxpayer dollars - the funding comes primarily from lottery funds.

On June 25, 2012 the city of Lakewood approval the RMDS rezoning request of 2090 South Wright Street so RMDS can purchase the land and build a K-12 school. This land is currently owned by Jefferson County Schools and is zoned for a K-12 school for 300-400 students.
The 2090 Coalition supporters must collect over 3000 Lakewood registered voter signatures by Aug 10. If they succeed, the petition would force the Lakewood city council to revisit the decision. If the council refuses to overturn the rezoning, the issue would go to the voters this fall. The 2090 Coalition is jeopardizing the possibility of a new school for RMDS by delaying the process to the BEST grant deadline.
2090 Coalition petitioners have been seen in several locations spreading incorrect information to gain signatures on the petition which will interfere with the rezoning process of the 2090 South Wright Street property. Their platform is "Save Our Park" and they are telling residents whom they approach that they are "preserving open space". This land had never been open space nor has it ever belonged to the city of Lakewood (something the city's own attorney attests to). The developers zoned it for a school in 1973 and the fortunate residents have been enjoying these 10 acres since then. The proposed school would still benefit the residents and they would still be able to enjoy the adjoining 40 acres that are zoned as open space. Please - we need your support! This video is in response to another, named "American Sign Language Teaching, On Behalf of the Deaf Community."
Rather than attack teachers with blanket statements, which may or may not be justified on a case-by-case basis, it's best that students be directly educated to choose the best ASL teachers.
If you, as a student, would read every Amazon.com review in deciding whether or not to purchase a $10 cookbook, but blindly spend hundreds of dollars on an ASL course you know nothing about, you have to examine your priorities, frankly.

If you want to take ASL and really learn the language, you cannot simply rely on the knowledge of college administrators who hire adjunct instructors. You have to ask people who know much more. The answer may surprise you. The best available teacher might be hearing. But, if that's the case, then I can practically guarantee that your teacher did everything they possibly could to learn directly from the Deaf community. You must accept this path to learning as well.
Don't become discouraged. Learn ASL. But to teach, you absolutely must have skills on par with the best of the best ASL teachers. Would you want anything less to be true of your own teachers?

The Election Committee of the National Association of the Deaf voting system fraudulent ??? How does the voting system works during selection of NAD Officers. Questions about how the delegates are supposed to do at NAD Conference. Numerous of Deafies heard about the voting had been rigged.

The Deaf Community keeps hearing different stories such as favoritism and fixture but a certain if they all are true, however, one source said the voting system can be cheated when the ballots are counted to choose by the NAD staff. It is damaged now and it is disgusted for the Deaf Communties and will fight it in next election of 2014. The thing is it's the special interest groups such as Z|CSDVRS keep NAD positions in their hands for a number of years. Way too long. They should allow others to run NAD for a change. People's rationale about being a delegate but sit is according to the NAD bylaws that change comes through the State Associations. The Election Committee of the National Association of the Deaf voting system fraudulent ??? How does the voting system works during selection of NAD Officers. Questions about how the delegates are supposed to do at NAD Conference. Numerous of Deafies heard about the voting had been rigged.

The Deaf Community keeps hearing different stories such as favoritism and fixture but a certain if they all are true, however, one source said the voting system can be cheated when the ballots are counted to choose by the NAD staff. It is damaged now and it is disgusted for the Deaf Communties and will fight it in next election of 2014. The thing is it's the special interest groups such as Z|CSDVRS keep NAD positions in their hands for a number of years. Way too long. They should allow others to run NAD for a change. People's rationale about being a delegate but sit is according to the NAD bylaws that change comes through the State Associations. It is very sad to know that organization(s) owned by members are SO SO hesistant for positive changes. Instead of making changes we need, the organization(s) puts us back in medieval times.

Also, censoring freedom of speech and social media while implementing their own agendas for NAD Presidential selection. Neutral and non-discriminatory must! Consequences.
CSD has been harboring NAD and weakening its system for over a decade! NAD Voting System - Number one important - first thing - let us all focus to see if NAD will do fix the bylaws - Voting systems need to change asap!

Z|CSDVRS is currently being bombarded on social media by Deaf Militants?
You have to report and file the complaint nature of commendation, complaint or concern, report to the FCC about 'Hate Speech In The National Association of the Deaf.' The Election Committee announced official candidates NAD Presidential elections. Chris Wagner has been selected to serve as the NAD's president for officer and regional representative positions on the NAD Board of Directors 2012 NAD Conference 51st biennial conference held in Louisville, KY from July 3-7, 2012.
The Deaf community finds disburbing and uncomfortable the words 'DEAF MILITANTS' commencement speech ideas from the Z|CSDVRS company which is qualified for the federal funds from the Federal Communications Commission (http://www.fcc.gov/) to provide video relay interpreting services is a form of Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) for the Deaf people. However, Numerous of deaf people finds digusting facts about Z|CSDVRS by calling certain deaf people 'Deaf Militants' by Julian Moiwai, Coordinator of Social Media, Z|CSDVRS, LCC, is not acceptable, not by FCC. We need to report to FCC that the monies sent to Z|CSDVRS are used to appropriate a staff to promote hate speech within the deaf community. Read below:

I would like to ask you to do us a favor. ZVRS is currently being bombarded on social media by Sheri supporters or so-called "Deaf militiants." Please do not participate in any means of communication by putting gas into this flame. The Z|CSDVRS, LLC."that FCC will investigate such a hate speech and find out why Deaf Militants is an 'intergenerative' hate speech. That just fits the federal Hate Crime Statistics Act (HCSA). Why? It is a federal approach. HCSA requires the Justice department (DOJ) to acquire data on crimes which "manifest prejudice based on race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.' FCC will be required to refer your letter to DOJ. See below:

The Z|CSDVRS is federally funded for the provision of Video Relay Services (VRS) that is governed by the rules adopted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) (47 C.F.R. 65.601 et. seq.) pursuant to the FCC's authority under Section 225 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 225. Moiwai's statement that "ZVRS is currently being bombarded on social media by Sheri [Farinha] supporters or so-called "Deaf militiants (sic)," begs for an official reprimand.
I am not very comfortable with the fact that such federally funded agencies like the Z and CSD played politics during the presidential election in the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) Conference last week. The Z|CSDVRS's Vice President Chris Wagner won the NAD presidential election. I ask that the FCC stops meddling in any consumer organization by federally funded agencies.

The Language in Space of the Cochlea Implantation
Video: 'The Language in Space' is a play written by Herbert Gantschacher.
The scene "The Cochlea Implantation" (performed by the Deaf actors Horst Dittrich as the father and Reinhard Grobbauer as the son and Werner Mössler as the doctor" shows a cochlea implantation real ironically. It is a real question, the cochlea implantation could be helpful.
On the way of an operation the return to the "hearing world" is technically possible. But the way of operation is not helpful for the Deaf society.

What happens to operated Deaf people, which are living now with a cochlea implantation but without a better result of hearing? They are not integrated in the "hearing world" and the Deaf world, they damaged psychological and physical. In such a situation the cochlea implantation destroys Deaf society.

ASL Community Outraged Over 'Super Smutty Sign Language'

This vblog discussing to support of the Petition we hopeful that we can recognize that we may overlook after a video publication, the video on the internet was met with a strong reaction from the ASL-users community. Many members of the community have objected to the video on the grounds that it features incomprehensible signs that from Kristin Henson's 'Dirty Signs with Kristin' which this is a saddening testimony to how ignored and oppressed the ASL Deaf community. A Hearing Opinion on Kristin and Her Dirty Signs
Just a little summary so you know what my opinion is in the meantime... I think that a hearing person (like Kristin and myself) needs to understand their place in the Deaf-world and community. We should never consider ourselves experts on sign language, we should never ignore Deaf people about their own language, and we should never appropriate their culture for monetary gain, which I feel Kristin is doing with her videos and new book deal.

Leading campaigner who want a good quality of learning American Sign Language for Deaf and hearing adults as Kristin claimed "About Kristin Henson Page". Deafies viewers said incoherent videos makes second-class citizens out of disability sufferers, ASL-users community view is that what she is doing is a classic case of exploitation. Kristin Henson is selling for a profits from ASL and culture which she conisdering the publish the book "Kristin Henson's Super Smutty Sign Language" and the "Dirty Sign with Kristin" videos in which has no right to sell her book and stuff when she not know much about ASL or know how to sign language in right way, somehow, ASL Deaf community view is that what she is doing is a classic case of exploitation.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT an interpreter! I understand that the art of ASL is very complex, and what I do is probably much closer to "Signed English" as opposed to actual ASL. The phrases I sign in these videos are things I tried to mash together from individual words I learned on the internet and from friends, and are probably not very close to the actual ASL phrases. If you would like to start learning ASL, I highly recommend it. I'm trying myself and it's a beautiful language, and there are many good resources out there (myself not included). With that said, I am not trying to disrespect anyone in the process of making these videos, I'm simply trying to have fun with my friends and learn ASL. If you see me signing something incorrectly, PLEASE let me know, and I will try to make a new video. Thanks!

Deaf viewers outraged by bizarre and confusing on Dirty Signs With Kristin.
This vblog discussing to support of the petition we hopeful that we can recognize that we may overlook after a video publication, the video on the internet was met with a strong reaction from the ASL-speaking community. Many members of the community have objected to the video on the grounds that it features incomprehensible signs that from Kristin Henson's vlogs "Dirty Signs" which this is a saddening testimony to how ignored and oppressed the ASL Deaf community.
Last a few weeks ago, A Deaf vlogger's name is Victoria just released video with captions to response for "Dirty Signs With Kristin" - Featuring Kristin Henson in which a video was under fire for major mistake for flubbing a many wrong gestures of dirty signs and insulted.
Kristin Henson's vlogs has attracted an audience of more than 1,5 million and 11,615 subscribers but Deaf viewers are outraged by nonsensical signing claiming 'Dirty Signs With Kristin'. Leading campaigner who want a good quality of learning American Sign Language for the Deaf and hearing adults as Kristin claimed "About Kristin Henson Page" Deaf viewers said incoherent videos makes second-class citizens out of disability sufferers, for instance one of vlogger who is a hearing person view on Kristin's videos as seen: A phrase in ASL just for Kristin Henson
