Samba seeking 'Rovers divorce'

Christopher Samba has cranked-up the war of words with his club Blackburn saying he will never give his employers '100 per-cent again' if they do not allow him to leave during January's transfer window.

The Rovers skipper is keen to quit the relegation-threatened Premier League club, with Spurs one of the teams hoping to acquire his services.

And the influential Congolese central defender told The Sun: "Blackburn need players who are 100 per-cent for the club and I'm not.

"The only way to solve this is for them to let me go. It will be very difficult for me to play for this team again.

"I'm at the end of the road here. I'm not going to change so, for their good and mine, they must sell me now.

"When a couple don't get on they get a divorce - and that's what me and Blackburn have to do.

"I have given everything for Blackburn. I've put my body on the line for this club - even playing when I've been injured.

"I signed a new deal last January because the owners told me

they had big plans. They don't understand football in this country.

"Names like Ronaldinho were mentioned and they promised there

was going to be a lot of investment in the team. It hasn't happened."
