Sunderland's John O'Shea has heaped praise on Stephane Sessegnon and claimed his contribution should not go unmentioned.
Black Cats fans are still glowing after watching their side move into the top half of the Premier League with a win in a pulsating encounter with Swansea at the weekend.
Sessegnon opened the scoring in the 14th minutes only to see his fantastic effort overshadowed by Craig Gardner's late winner.
"It's incredible to think Sessegnon's goal has been overshadowed really," O'Shea told the Sunderland Echo.
"It was a great one-two and I was saying to him at half-time that I thought he was meaning to cross it.
"That's what we know he's capable of, he's a special player for us and long may that continue.
"He's the player that makes the difference for us and that goal summed him up."
