Former Brazil international and FIFA World Player of the Year Rivaldo has agreed a move to Angolan side Kabuscorp.
Rivaldo, 39, was once thought to be one of the greatest players in the world alongside Zinedine Zidane and compatriot Ronaldo, winning the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 and Champions League with AC Milan in 2003.
The former Barcelona star, who left Sao Paulo in December, was surprisingly linked with a move to Angola earlier this week and after flying to Africa for talks he has now confirmed the move.
"I received offers from several countries, but I chose Angola because of the language and because I liked the project," he said.
"I have been a champion in every country where I have played, I have always given my best for every club I have represented, so I am confident. I am sure that I will be happy at Kabuscorp and in Angola."
Rivaldo had previously confirmed that he intends to continue playing until the end of 2012.
